Poultry Feed
The limiting growth factor in poultry feed is protein.
Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) is a complete feed high in protein (50 to 65% link), vitamin B1 and B6, and may contain up to 14% lipids (of dry mass).link

Testing the digestibility of Spirulina in broiler chicken diets, the Spirulina ileal digestibility coefficients were 0.80 +/- 0.04 and 0.78 +/- 0.04 for essential and non-essential amino acids, respectively.
Protein was 514.7g per 888g dry matter (60%), 18.42 MJ/kg gross energy, 3.1 g/kg Calcium and 11.0 g/kg Phosphorus. link
Quail Feed
In Quails, four levels of Spirulina platensis microalgae (0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%) in the diets had positive effects on egg quality; increasing monounsaturated fatty acid levels and antioxidants in egg yolks, consequently reducing lipid peroxidation. link
Flamingo Feed
Flamingos feed by filtering spirulina from the water with their bill. Feeding experiments with caged birds (the lesser flamingo; Phoeniconaias minor) gave a clearing rate of 31.8 +/- 1.3 l/h for an adult flamingo, and a feeding rate of 5.6 g DW/h (dry weight per hour). The mean feeding time was 12.5 hours per day. (feeding rate of 66 g DW for the average bird) link
Lamb Feed
The ability of ruminants to digest raw spirulina (link) makes them especially suited to Spirulina microfarming.
High Spirulina supplementation level results in a decrease in intramuscular fat content in Australian purebred and crossbred sheep. link Medium supplemented lambs have highest liveweights. High Spirulina supplementation increases overall dietary energy intake and serum glucose levels.link Pregnant ewes receiving Spirulina deliver heavier lambs (up 4.07%) link

Swine Feed
In swines, supplemental Spirulina leads to higher growth rates, higher carcass outputt, and lower intramuscular fat. link

Cattle Feed
